Judgment built in this market, not borrowed from a framework
We have spent years building the women's health ecosystem in Spain, Portugal and Europe. We have watched a great many women's health companies try to establish themselves in Iberia, and we understand with some precision why a few succeeded and most did not. That understanding is what informs our work, our insights and our recommendations.
One team on both sides of the problem
Companies rarely fail in a new market because the strategy was wrong. They fail because they ran out of runway before the market answered. Entry and capital are the same problem, so we don't split them — and because we hold both sides, part of what we earn can be tied to the outcome: distributors signed, first revenue, rounds closed.

We provide one strategic point of contact across the whole journey — strategy, entry and funding — specialised in women's health throughout. We are not a generalist firm with a femtech page.
A note on how we're structured
FemTech Spain and FemTech Portugal are non-profit ecosystem organisations. They're open to everyone and free to join. Orvela Partners is a separate commercial consultancy. Working with us buys no advantage inside those organisations, and membership costs nothing and requires no engagement with us. We keep the line clean, because the ecosystem only works if it's genuinely for everyone.
