Your fastest, lowest-risk route into a new market.
Market entry for women's health companies, run in both directions — world into Europe, Europe into the world — with Spain, Portugal and Luxembourg as the European landing points. We sequence it so you find demand and partners before you spend money on structure.
What you get out of it
- Time-to-first-revenue cut, not just a market-entry plan
- Regulatory and distribution missteps avoided before they cost you a year
- A structure that follows the revenue, instead of preceding it
- EU soft-landing via Spain, Portugal or Luxembourg
- EU medical, AI and data regulation clearance
- Entry-country selection — demand, regulation, reimbursement, language and channel
- Distributor and commercial partner sourcing
- Regulatory pathway coordination, through our partners
- Localisation strategy
- Entity, EOR and hiring routes when the revenue justifies them, through our partners
- LATAM, UK, US, Middle East, Asia and Africa expansion
Since January 2026 the EU and Brazil hold mutual data adequacy — no Standard Contractual Clauses required — which makes Portugal the natural first stop for Brazilian founders handling health data. The rest of LATAM still enters through Spain under SCCs.
Women's health and healthtech companies entering Europe, and European companies expanding outward from an Iberian base.

Before you ask us
Usually not, and rarely as the first step. Most companies can begin through a distributor or commercial partner with no European entity at all, and can put their first person on the ground through an employer-of-record arrangement. Incorporation makes sense once you have revenue, a team, or a regulatory obligation that requires it — which is why we sequence it last rather than first.
It depends on where your data comes from and where your demand is. Brazilian companies handling health data have a clear advantage entering through Portugal, because the EU–Brazil adequacy decision of January 2026 removes the need for Standard Contractual Clauses. For the rest of LATAM, Spain is usually the stronger entry — larger market, deeper reimbursement pathways, and SCCs are manageable. Language, channel structure and clinical validation routes all shift the answer too, which is why we start with a Readiness Audit for this engagement.
The audit takes four to six weeks. First distributor conversations typically start within the following two months. Revenue depends on your channel: consumer products move in months, anything requiring clinical validation or reimbursement takes considerably longer, and anyone who promises you a fixed timeline for that hasn't done it.
Depending on what your product does, how it processes data, and whether it uses AI, EU regulatory frameworks may apply — including medical device regulations, data protection and AI regulations. Determining which rules apply to your product, and how they interact, is one of the first and most important steps: getting the regulatory classification wrong can have significant cost and timeline implications.
